🏄 Board of the Week: Skindog Surfboards x One Last Wave Project
This week, we're giving a big shoutout to the OLWP and Ben Skinner from Skindog Surfboards for their fabulous creation. Ben's not just rad by taking on the project; he's also a competitive longboard surfer from England and killer at shaping boards. One of his latest masterpieces was recently unveiled by The One Last Wave Project at Fistral Beach in Newquay, and it's seriously a special one.
The One Last Wave Project
This 9’2” single-fin longboard features a square tail, coloured with resin and polished to perfection. Its beauty is matched only by its significance and is a special tribute to 1825 people from 22 countries. Their names are etched on the board, symbolizing their last ride. It's a tribute to folks who have a deep love for the ocean or nature. The release of board #7, is captured in a touching board movie, offering comfort to grieving families worldwide. Names on the board are visible on Surf Neutral under its board story.
Now, Dan Fisher, who is the founder of the OLWP is taking submissions for Board #8 in Florida, spreading comfort in times of loss.
