Single finThis board was made in Des Sawyers first factory in Sea Point Cape Town the mid 70’s. This board was one of the first foam stain boards made. A foam stain means that the colour was put on the foam in resin.
Des used a few Dick Brewer templates that he got from Johnny Paarman after he came back from Hawaii. Looking at the board Des recalls that these templates were used to make this board.
